Hey there! Thanks for reading the Metaphysical Author’s Confidential. This newsletter is for fellow mystics who want to write, publish, or market their magical books. I hope you find it useful. Thank you for being a paid subscriber. Your support helps keep the writing lights on.

When my first book came out, I hosted a six-course tarot-inspired dinner for twenty-two lucky people. This event was great fun - and the perfect way to generate excitement for The Tarot Coloring Book. Since then, I’ve hosted other launch parties, both online and offline. I’ve received a few questions about these events:

:: Is it worth it?

:: How do you set one up?

:: Can a virtual launch party be as effective as an in-person event?

Great questions. Here’s the scoop.

First of all, YES, they are worth it. A launch party is not just a way to introduce your book to the world, it's a joyous celebration of your hard work and creativity. Whether you’re gathering friends and family at an exclusive location or sharing a special online reading event, your book deserves to be celebrated. Plus, launch parties put lots of eyes on your work, so it’s also smart PR.
